Kalanithi Maran and his Sun Pictures Enthiran audio released through Think Music has created a new world record.
AR Rahman’s extraordinary music in the Shankar directed Rajinikanth film has put the album on top of the charts of the iTunes Store.
Swaroop Reddy of Think Music says: “It is for the first time that a Tamil film album has opened in the number one position in iTunes Store’s Top 10 world album, which by any yardstick is simply phenomenal.”
As per music industry sources the audio CD of Enthiran has taken the best ever opening in Indian music history. Think Music has sold all the 2.5 lakh CD’s of the film under 48 hours since the audio was officially launched in Malaysia on July 31.
